Ahhhh… our very favorite.. the Rustic Theme!

Rustic.. what does this mean to you?? Burlap… wood.. trees… browns and gold’s.. all of this is part of the rustic feel. This theme seems to have stayed around the longest and each bride finds their own way to make it special to their day!

We have seen lots of great ideas but today we are going to share our favorites!

Use this interesting décor piece to add a special touch to your ceremony, reception or both! Another cool idea would be to have the guests sign the letters in place of the guestbook then display this gorgeous ladder in your home!

Lots of brides go for the classic mason jar centerpiece with a candle, or floating candle, even floral. Create a twist to the usual décor and paint your mason jars to your wedding colors then add some beautiful classic flowers!

5 Wedding Trends we Love!

1. Instagram Hashtag

We all know that social media is a huge thing now, for everyone! If they aren’t just on Facebook, they’re on Twitter.. Instagram.. Blog sites.. the list goes on! So why not have a hashtag especially for your wedding day! It is inevitable that guests will be snapping photos all evening of themselves, the couple and more! Catch them all on Instagram by having a personalized hashtag! 5d1d9534d20630efea4031a872102e87

2. Terrarium Centrepieces

Floral is the hottest item to integrate into your wedding centrepiece, it can also be the most pricey option at best. Why not go for a unique look? You can do that by incorporating terrariums or greenery into your centrepiece idea. Your guests will love it and it will be something for them to remember that was special about your reception décor!

3. Geometrics

This is a new trend for 2014! This was predicted to be something more couples would start incorporating into their weddings when we attended the Wedding MBA conference, September 2013. It is an out of the box idea and can be incorporated lots throughout the wedding or little accents of It!

4. Food Trucks

Have you ever thought about incorporating a food truck into your reception? It is an excellent late lunch idea! It has been known that one of the things your guests remember most about your wedding is the food, like the late lunch. Having something unique like a food truck will have your guests swooning! If you’re willing to spend the extra money, you won’t regret it!

5. Vintage/ Rustic Theme

This has been a popular theme for a few years now, but the great thing about this theme is there is so much you can do to make it unique to your special day! Find a venue that incorporates this theme, this will be a great cost saver on décor items as it will already be exactly what you want! Décor items will then just be an accent to the venue!
